2ARTRAVEL
RESEARCH & DOCUMENTARY
The 2ARTRAVEL project was inspired by our passion for art and travel. Two artists, fascinated yet deeply concerned about Iran’s nature and culture, aim to visualize these feelings through an artistic language—using photography and events—to connect with Iranians living across the country, from Balochistan to Azerbaijan, from the Persian Gulf coasts to the Caspian Hyrcanian forests, and from the Central Desert to the Zagros Mountains.
The 2ARTRAVEL project, launched in 2015, is structured in three sections:
Water Resources Focusing on thirteen biosphere reserves in Iran
Photography and documentary
Research and Publications
The design and implementation of all sections are based on the principles of sustainable development, respect for the natural environment, and the culture of local communities. Research, photography, documentation, and dissemination of findings and experiences form part of this long-term project, which aims to unite artists, environmentalists, and researchers from diverse languages, cultures, and beliefs to conserve water and vital life resources. The 2ARTRAVEL project was first presented publicly at the Iranian Artists Forum in 2015 and continues to evolve freely through the contributions of environmentalist artists.
